DESCRIPTION:Our GE series takes the form of a fire side chat at CERI. At the end of Day 1 of our Entrepreneurial Mindset Bootcamp\, we interview an entrepreneur about their start-up or scale-up journey\, spotlighting the ups\, downs and in-betweens of the entrepreneurial path. \nThe format is engaging\, conversational and has a strong focus on the mindset of entrepreneurship (the Founder’s Why\, Vision and Values). Entrepreneurs are interviewed by our bootcamp facilitator\, Anna Abelha. \nThe series has featured WA’s leading entrepreneurial talent\, including Olivia Humphrey\, Founder and former CEO of Kanopy; Lucy Cooke\, Founder of SpaceDraft; Les Delaforce\, Former Co-Founder of Covocate; and David Cannington\, Co-Founder and CMO of Nuheara.

Primarily focused in the application of information\, communications\, technology and cybersecurity solutions across the oil and gas\, public\, mining\, heavy vehicle manufacturing\, mining\, defence (Electronic Warfare) and telecommunication industries\, Glenn also has had significant “hands on” experience in designing and architecting cybersecurity solutions. \nGlenn is currently focused on growing the startup ecosystem for WA\, through implementation of an innovation precinct and as a venture partner at FundWA. Glenn is also passionate about encouraging the next generation of cybersecurity professionals and has started a cybersecurity pathway program. He has a proven history of thought leadership through presenting at industry events\, TEDx\, magazine publications\, academic publications\, news articles and media interviews. \nGlenn is near completion of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cybersecurity and also holds a Masters in Systems Engineering and a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering with 1st class Honors. \n  \nAbout our speaker Daniel Benporath\, Deputy Global CISO\, Head of IT Security APAC at APM Group \nDan has worked in the Cyber Security industry for nearly 20 years having worked in the Education\, Resources\, Financial and Human Services sectors. During his career he has held roles in all facets of security including consulting\, awareness and incident response.
