DESCRIPTION:Expressions of Interest for a Member of the Minerals Research Institute of Western Australia Board \nThe Minerals Research Institute of Western Australia (MRIWA) is seeking expressions of interest for appointment as a Member to its Board. \nApplicants should be able to demonstrate recent or current experience in commercialisation of new science or technology\, private sector investment in R&D and project finance\, intellectual property management\, and knowledge of government processes. \nKnowledge of a broad range of issues affecting the minerals industry\, as well as projected trends\, is essential.  Prior governance experience\, particularly in Audit & Risk\, will be highly regarded\, as will experience in clean energy and emissions reduction technology. \nIn line with the Public Sector’s commitment to diversity on boards\, priority may be given to suitably qualified candidates who meet this outcome.
