Ignition gives you the tools\, contacts and confidence to transform your idea into a successful business venture. \nThis program is for founders of an early stage business and anyone with an idea for a new or improved product or service\, and a passion for developing that idea into a real business proposition over one intensive week… You might be: \n\nThinking of starting a novel business;\nCurrently employed or at home and looking to propel your idea;\nStudent\, graduate or academic considering your own venture;\nOwner\, founder or senior manager of an existing business considering diversification of products and markets\, or a new venture.\n\nIn order to maximise your investment\, be prepared to commit one week to this intense and results focused program\, costing $3\,750 (ex GST) per person \nYour fee includes materials\, mentoring\, networking sessions\, buffet lunches\, drinks and the final celebration dinner. \nThis program is heavily subsidised by Curtin scholarship funding\, Ignition sponsors and the generosity of many people contributing their time. DESCRIPTION:Have you got ideas for addressing waste water challenges?\nKeen to connect with south west breweries and wineries?\nJoin us on the 4th November for an exciting innovation challenge in the beautiful Margaret River region\, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to help solve waste water challenges that are impacting on the sustainability of south west wineries and breweries.\nWhat’s involved? \nThis innovation challenge will bring together breweries\, wineries\, researchers\, government\, startups and relevant service providers to develop ideas for potential solutions that can then be taken through to commercialisation. \nThe event will include guest speakers from wineries\, breweries\, service providers and regulators to provide details on the problem and gaps in the market. Participants will work in teams to develop new ideas using a facilitated design thinking process.  Subject matter experts will be on hand to guide teams and provide feedback on new ideas. We work with researchers at any stage of their project across all disciplines. \nDuring the nine weeks of ON Prime\, you will develop a deeper understanding of the people who could benefit the most from your research and sharpen skills to communicate with that audience. \nExpert facilitators will support you to build evidence for the impact of your research\, so you can make a difference in the world and attract the resources you need along the way. Remotely delivered sessions are spaced out approximately two weeks apart and you should allocate additional time between sessions to undertake stakeholder engagement activities.
