DESCRIPTION:The Grain Automate Open Innovation Call seeks innovative RD&E proposals that accelerate machine automation\, autonomy\, intelligent systems and precision input use in Australian grain production. The call is designed to attract new participants\, diverse capabilities and novel approaches that complement and strengthen the existing Grain Automate portfolio. Applicants are invited to propose investments across four priority categories: Paving the Way for Autonomy\, Targeted Technology Development\, Building Intelligent Systems\, and Precision of Input Use. An Open Category will also consider high-value opportunities that align with the objectives and guiding principles of the call. \nApplications are encouraged from both Australian and international organisations and consortia. Applicants should clearly demonstrate how their proposed activities\, technologies and partnerships will be adapted to Australian grain-production systems and deliver measurable value to Australian grain growers. \nProposals may be submitted by a single organisation or a consortium; however\, all proposals must demonstrate clear grower outcomes\, value for Australian grain growers\, and a credible pathway to delivery and impact. \nLearn more here
