SUMMARY:DEADLINE: Agrifood and beverage voucher program
DESCRIPTION:Round 5 of the WA Agrifood and Beverage Voucher Program is open for applications. \nThe Voucher Program supports small businesses across regional and metropolitan WA to access expert advice to build resilience and sustainability\, competitiveness\, scale and export preparedness into their operations.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nUp to $20\,000 per business\, with 50:50 co-contribution\, is available to access professional services with up to two vouchers under 5 categories; \n\nBusiness Planning;\nManufacturing for Business Growth (including transition to manufacturing for producers\, HACCP\, process engineering and automation);\nSales and Marketing (including e-commerce\, marketing strategy\, customer relationship management system design\, export market development and re-branding);\nFinancial Health (including succession planning\, pitch decks\, and other investment planning); and\nEnvironmental Sustainability and Social Responsibility (including net zero planning\, waste water management plans\, sustainable packaging design\, and ESG).\n\nApplicants may select a service provider that suits their business (preferably local!) and upload a quotation with their application\, which can be completed via SmartyGrants. A separate quotation and application must be submitted for each (up to two) voucher. \n\nHow to apply\nOpen – Round Five is open for applications via SmartyGrants until 5:00 pm (AWST) Monday\, 4 December 2023 \nFor those potential applicants needing help to identify service providers\, DPIRD maintains a searchable database of Western Australian Service Providers that specialise in Food and Beverage. \nVouchers will be provided to competitive WA businesses that meet the eligibility criteria and whose business development objectives are most closely aligned with the State Government’s objectives including: \n\nGrowing and diversifying the State’s economy – Future jobs and skills;\nStronger\, safer communities;\nInvesting in climate action;\nInvesting in the regions.\n\nEligible small businesses will be required to have an annual sales turnover of between $100\,000 and $50 million. Vouchers may be provided to metropolitan and regionally based WA businesses that meet the eligibility criteria and are assessed as competitive. The maximum value of a voucher that a business can apply for is dependent on the annual sales turnover of that business. If your feasibility study is successful\, you may receive up to $1 million to develop your proof of concept. \nWho is this for?\nSmall to medium enterprises. \n\n\n\n\nOverview\n\nThe Australian Government is seeking innovative technology solutions to support engagement with modern awards. This grant opportunity will focus specifically on making it easier for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to find\, navigate\, and utilise modern awards. \nAs part of this challenge grantees are required to utilise the Fair Work Commission’s Modern Award Pay Database (MAPD) to ensure up-to-date information on modern awards minimum rates of pay\, allowances\, overtime and penalty rates data is integrated in the final solution. The Fair Work Commission has released an application programming interface (API) that grantees could consider using in their design solution. Grantees must use the MAPD\, but they may also use data from other sources. The aim is to provide year-round all-weather access and improve delivery of essential goods and services.\n\n\n\n\nWhat do you get?\nGrants of up to $3 million to enhance aerodrome safety and accessibility. \nWho is this for?\nOwners and operators of aerodromes in remote or very remote areas of Australia. \n\n\n\n\nOverview\n\nThe Remote Airstrip Upgrade Program provides grants to enhance the safety and accessibility of aerodromes in remote and very remote areas of Australia. It will provide year-round all-weather access\, particularly where road access is unavailable or unreliable. This will: \n\nimprove the safety of aircraft\, operators and passengers using remote and very remote airstrips\nfacilitate improved delivery of essential goods and services such as food supplies\, health care\, community mail and passenger air services\ncomplement air services delivery to communities subsidised under the Australian Government’s Remote Aviation Access Program (RAAP) through the Remote Air Services Subsidy (RASS) Scheme\nmeet operational requirements of the RFDS or operators providing similar aeromedical services\n\nThe maximum grant amount is $3\,000\,000. \nThe grant will be up to 50% of eligible project costs\, unless: \n\nwhere the applicant (you) and a third party (could include State/Territory or local government\, or other entity are both contributing to eligible project costs\, the grant amount will be up to 33.3% of eligible project costs or\nwhere the applicant (you) meets the definition in these Guidelines as an Indigenous Owned and/or Operated Aerodrome\, the grant will be up to 100% of eligible project cost.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCheck if you can apply\n\nYou can apply if you meet the eligibility criteria.
