Concept to Reality (C2R) – ‘Bridging the Valley of Death’ – Transitioning Innovative Healthcare & Medical Device products into manufacturing

Innovating products is the lifeblood of any organisation but, what happens when concepts need to transition into manufacturing or ‘into reality’?

People often mention the Valley of Death, relating to the numerous innovations that fail to bridge this gap to the next phase of production.

The WA Life Sciences Innovation Hub and Bosch are excited to bring you this dynamic discussion to share the experiences & the fears of transitioning innovations into reality and how Bosch Australia Manufacturing Solutions (BAMS) have supported businesses in this sector to:

  • Reduce risk.
  • Eliminate downstream error.
  • Limit unnecessary unplanned costs.
  • Plan better.
  • Make the decision to invest easier.
  • Visual what production could look like.
  • Optimise product designs for ease of manufacture.
  • Offer manufacturing resource and know-how.

Bosch are known for successfully launching innovative products so, this workshop will provide insights to the systems & tools that BAMS employ that provide clients with a greater confidence when they are ready to scale up.
