Hear from leading experts on Australia’s energy transition to net zero, its challenges and opportunities, and what it means for climate change
Getting to Net Zero – Australia’s energy transition and what it means for the ACT & ATSE
The ACT Division Committee are excited to welcome you to our third hybrid seminar for 2025, which will explore the topic of Australia’s energy transition towards net zero greenhouse gas emissions. We will hear from three of our ACT Fellows – from a national and ACT perspective, and in the context of what it means for mitigating climate change.
Drew Clarke AO FTSE will draw on his deep experiences to describe Australia’s energy transition – the challenges and the opportunities it presents to Australia, and the role for ATSE and allied learned academies in developing the knowledge, information and technologies needed to support this energy transition.
Dr Helen Cleugh FTSE will respond to the two energy-focussed presentations from the perspective of what they mean for climate change and its impacts on Australia.
