Department of Energy and Economic Diversification is seeking an experienced and driven professional to lead the delivery of green energy, decarbonisation and state development projects that support the State’s transition to a low-carbon economy by 2030.

As the Director, you will lead complex projects of state significance, working closely with industry, government agencies, local authorities and community stakeholders to achieve strategic outcomes. You will manage project teams, coordinate approvals processes, provide strategic advice, and build strong relationships to support the successful development of key energy and infrastructure projects.

In this role, you will drive project delivery against agreed milestones, negotiate outcomes on behalf of the State, and contribute to the development of infrastructure strategies, plans and policies. You will also monitor industry and market developments to provide timely advice on emerging opportunities and challenges within the green energy and resources sectors.
