WA RNA Salon (@ Curtin University)

The next RNA Salon Seminar event is on Thursday 27th Aug, 12-2pm at Curtin University (TL Robertson Library, Building 105, level 7, The Lantern room), followed by networking from 1-2pm.

We are delighted to have TWO PhD students, Saskia Saville (Curtin) and Bac Dao (UWA), presenting their exciting RNA research. Saskia is supervised by Dr Rodrigo Carlessi, and will be presenting her work on RNA-based CRISPR-Cas13d therapeutic strategies for hepatocellular carcinoma. While Bac is based at the School of Computer Sciences and has been developing artificial intelligence approaches to predict RNA modifications from Oxford Nanopore direct RNA sequencing data.
