Unearthing Value in Geoscience Data with AI

ACBC WA, CCCA (Perth Branch) and SRK Consulting invite you to join us as we delve into an insightful discussion on how to maximise the value of your geoscience data using AI, followed by casual networking drinks and nibbles.

In the first presentation, Principal Geologist Dr Yuanjian Zhu will explore how working with AI can improve efficiency and accuracy in mining geology, as well as automate the recognition and learning of patterns in geoscience data.

Following Dr Zhu, Dr Mark Rieuwers will share a case study on an exploration targeting project that used multiple approaches (done in collaboration with DeepIQ and BHP). The project aimed to support the discovery of large porphyry copper deposits in a well-explored region in the northern Chilean Andes.
