Curtin Invest: Deal

Curtin Invest is a four-part series, delivered over 12 months, curated to raise awareness and educate West Australian current and prospective investors in WA’s startup investment. The purpose of this series is to contribute towards, grow, and cultivate an investible ecosystem, positioning WA as a state to invest in with abundant talent, ideas, technology and opportunities.
This free, hands-on workshop will be led by angel investors Tracie Clark and Rob Nathan, with live pitches from some of Curtin’s startup companies, and a panel featuring WA’s leading investors Wilson Casado (The Bakery), Isabelle Charter (Drip Finance), Rob Davis (South West Angels), Sheryl Frame (VentureX HQ), Isis Nair (Ex-Google), and Kirsty Packer (Purpose Ventures).
We’re particularly encouraging of regional participants to join us online as we will be facilitating this workshop virtually via Webex.
Practically, participants can expect to learn:
- Explore what it means to be an Angel Investor
- Find out how to evaluate investment opportunities
- Witness expert investors conduct a live deal assessment
- Discover some of WA’s top startups
After the workshop, guests are invited to connect, engage, and share ideas with one another over drinks and canapés.
