SMEs in Web3 Forum

Blockchain-based Web3 applications offer unprecedented advantages in enhancing business efficiency during digital transformation; however, SMEs exhibit a notably low adoption rate. This interactive session will explore the reasons behind this hesitance and demonstrate how SMEs can effectively utilise these innovations. Through practical demonstrations and detailed case studies with invited industry practitioners, we will discuss the tangible benefits and common obstacles that SMEs face in the adoption of new technologies.

SMEs in Web3 Forum is a collaboration between the Asia Pacific Family Business Symposium with the Western Australia WEB3 Association and the Global Fintech Institute. The event hosts “fireside chats” and presentations from SMEs and experts on how SMEs use WEB3 technologies in their business.

The event is moderated by Dr Andrzej Gwizdalski, WAWEB3 Chair and UWA Honorary Research Fellow with Prof David Lee Kuo, Global Fintech Institute Chair.
