The Experimental Design Workshop is tailored to enhance your research skills through hands-on exercises and expert guidance. This is a rare opportunity to refine your research questions, structure treatments effectively, and implement best practices for trial protocols and data management.
Workshop Agenda:
10:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Refining Your Research Questions
Delve into the “what,” “why,” and “how” of research with small-plot and OFE trial hands-on example exercises.
12:30 PM – 1:30 PM: Lunch (included)
1:30 PM – 2:15 PM: Structuring Your Treatments
Learn how to align your treatment structure and levels with your research questions.
2:15 PM – 3:00 PM: Trial Protocols and Data Best Practices
Ensure your trial protocols are well-defined to maximise benefits and minimise risks, including best practices for data collection, entry, storage, and backup.
Who Should Attend:
This workshop is open exclusively to members of the GGA network who are looking to enhance their research capabilities. With limited capacity, priority will be given to members.
